Ray Brown Impact Seat Belt Labels
Impact seat belts were often seen in the mid 60's in competition cars. The belts were used on various competition cars including Cobras, Shelby Mustangs and others. The belts were made by Ray Brown Automotive/American Safety and there was some slight variation in the design of this label.
Labels are sold singly, and do not include any seat belts. Usually you will need 2 or 4 depending on the belt setup you have or how you prefer to fit these.
Label Details
Label Size 94 x 53mm (note design is approx 3mm smaller all around to give border to stitch over). Original labels show a single line of black thread stitching, slightly in from the border. They are designed to work with 3" competition belts. Note all sizes are approx. within a mm or so due to production tolerance etc.
These are woven labels similar to the original, with a pure white background. Manufactured to a good standard in Germany. The company describes them as "damask and made of 100% polyester threads. They are therefore resistant, colourfast and machine washable at high temperatures. Hot cut to size, the edges will not fray"
Disclaimer
These labels can be stitched to lap belts. As seat belts are a safety item, if you add these labels then we recommend that you use your seat belts for show purposes only.
